Guess Expands in Russia

Guess (Los Angeles) has announced that it will soon be expanding its presence throughout Russia, with plans to open 10 stores in the country throughout the year.

Of those, it plans to open a new, 5500-square-foot flagship store in Moscow, as a result of its recent joint venture with a local Russian company. According to a press release, Guess also plans to open a directly-managed, 6400-square-foot showroom in the city.

The new flagship store will utilize the company’s restyled concept store featuring a contemporary, white backdrop with contrasting materials and modular panels to allow for layout flexibility. It will also take advantage of digital displays along the walls.

The company currently operates 30 stores in the country, and over the next three years, expects to bring that total up to about 80 stores.
