Guess to Expand into Taiwan

Guess (Los Angeles) announced plans to open four free-standing brick-and-mortar stores in Taiwan. The first of the stores opened last week in Taichung, with the next opening May 6 in Kaohsiung. A large flagship is scheduled to open in June in Taipei.

The retailer has been actively expanding throughout China, so the company’s rentry into Taiwan is part of “a natural progression,” reports L.A. Biz.

The new stores will be modeled after its new store design which launched this year. The global denim-concept design is contemporary, featuring stark white shelves and contrasting materials.
