Hallmark Restructures Business

Hallmark Cards Inc. (Kansas City, Mo.) announced it is dividing its Hallmark North America organization into three, new distinct businesses. The new divisions, which will be independently operated of one another, are Hallmark Greetings, Hallmark Home and Gifts, and Hallmark Retail, reports a press release.

In conjunction with these structural changes is also a variety of personnel changes. According to a press release, the entire enterprise will be overseen by CEO Don J. Hall, Jr., and David Hall will be president over the corporation. Each new business will be led by its own president: Mike Perry will be president over Hallmark Greetings; Keith Kotel is president over Hallmark Home and Gifts; and John X. Watson is president over Hallmark Retail. All were internal promotions.
