Harrods to Reveal Updated Department

Later this month, Harrods (London) will unveil a newly designed men’s SUN department, which carries socks, underwear and nightwear.

The department, first launched at the retailer in 1890, has been expanded from 1559 square feet to 2416 square feet, reports Women’s Wear Daily. Outfitted with marble and brass furnishings, the updated department also includes shop-in shop spaces, a made-to-measure lounge for shirts, and a personalization station.

“The launch of our redeveloped Socks, Underwear and Nightwear department marks an exciting development in our ongoing focus on menswear at Harrods,” said Helen David, Harrods’ chief merchant. “SUN opens alongside Designer Collections, and a new accessories department, all of which have been thoughtfully curated and laid out with the shopping needs and habits of our male customer.”
