Hermès Renovates Singapore Flagship

Hermès (Paris) has renovated and expanded its flagship store in Singapore. The renovation included overhauling the store’s exterior (including a new entrance) and interior.

The exterior renovation included replacing the “striated façade with a porous shell clad in white Alucobond and glass that is cut through with geometric rows of sharply angled embrasures,” reports Wallpaper*.

The new entrance features a stone floor, cedar window shutters, European cherry vitrines and a teak wood staircase. A new third floor houses the brand’s furniture collection and home accessories, while the fourth floor features an art space that is overseen by the Fondation d’entreprise Hermès.
