Victoria’s Secret to Discontinue Catalogs

Victoria’s Secret (Reynoldsburg, Ohio) announced that, after this year, it will no longer publish its catalog. The company has not yet announced the exact date that it will cease publication, however.

The decision to stop publishing the catalog came after the company did two test runs where it reduced or entirely eliminated the catalog from different markets and saw no significant change in sales, reports The Columbus Dispatch.

Eliminating the catalog will allow the company to save between $125 million to $150 million a year.

The move is part of a variety of changes the company is instituting to simplify the business and accelerate growth.
