Toys “R” Us Hires Chief Technology Officer

Toys “R” Us (Wayne, N.J.) has hired its first global chief technology officer, Lance Wills. Wills will start at the company June 13, and his goal will be to help the company improve its digital strategy and performance by creating a streamless approach through all available shopping channels, reports The Record.

He previously worked for American Eagle Outfitters (Pittsburgh), where he was global head of digital technology, as well as Macy’s (Cincinnati), where he was vp for direct and omnichannel technologies.

Wills will report to chair and ceo Dave Brandon.
