Home Depot Opens Distribution Centers

The Home Depot (Atlanta) has opened three new distribution centers in Florida, according to a press release. The facilities are located in West Palm Beach, Miami and Fort Myers and will provide faster delivery to customers in the region, according to the company.

Set at 332,000 square feet, the facility in Miami will house large construction materials, while the locations in Fort Myers and West Palm Beach will facilitate appliance deliveries.

Home Depot is also planning to open two additional centers in Miami in 2022. The five centers will create more than 150 jobs.

Kyle Dennis, VP of Supply Chain Development, said in the release: “Our customers have varying needs – from DIYers renovating their homes to professional contractors on job sites. These investments are helping us deliver to our Pro and DIY customers across South Florida when, where and how they want.”
