Hot Dog on a Stick Adds Drive-Thru Service

Hot Dog on a Stick (Carlsbad, Calif.) has opened its first drive-thru location in West Jordan, Utah. The location, which marks the seventh store in Utah, is also the first in the chain to offer breakfast.

“Dave Barham, ceo and founder, always looked for inventive ways to reach guests,” says Laurie Sonia, executive vice president. “Before store locations, Dave shared products from a portable hot dog stand hooked to his Lincoln Continental at county fairs. This is another creative approach, inspired by his legacy.”

The chain was established in 1946 in Southern California and has expanded to more than 100 stores in 12 states.
