CityTarget Bows in Seattle, Los Angeles and Chicago

With an eye to urban shoppers, Target Corp. (Minneapolis) launched its first small-format CityTarget stores this week in Seattle, Los Angeles and Chicago, the Chicago Sun-Times reports. CityTarget stores average 80,000 to 100,000 square feet compared to 125,000 to 135,000 square feet for Target retailers, and also face higher rents in urban zones, according to the Sun-Times.
