iGotcha Media and LG Electronics Canada, Inc. to Showcase WellVR Stress Management Application at DX3

Virtual reality application uses LG, HTC Vive and Muse hardware to create immersive relaxation experience

Montreal, February 20, 2018 – iGotcha Media, a digital interactive studio specialized in building memorable screen-based customer experiences, today announced that it will exhibit its WellVR stress management application with long-standing partner LG Electronics Canada, Inc., a global leader in electronics, information and communications products, at DX3, Canada’s largest conference for marketers.

WellVR incorporates three LG 65-inch OLED monitors, the HTC Vive virtual reality headset and the Muse “brain sensing” headband. The VR headset delivers an immersive experience of relaxing at the beach, while the “brain sensing” headband detects increased relaxation and responds by replicating a sunset, which further enhances relaxation. By integrating these powerful technologies, WellVR provides a momentary escape from the stresses of modern life.

“We are pleased to be returning to DX3 with iGotcha Media for the third consecutive year,” says Mike Della Mora, Director of Sales, Digital Signage, LG Electronics Canada, Inc. “iGotcha Media develops very sophisticated VR applications that are ideally suited to our OLED video walls and provide dynamic opportunities to demonstrate the full potential of our latest generation monitors.”

“We developed the stress management application to illustrate our proven ability to integrate diverse technologies, including LG’s impressive OLED monitors, and create tailor-made applications,” continues Greg Adelstein, President, iGotcha Media. “We wish to show the market that we possess technical expertise and creative originality. The stress management application is also expected to provide a novel ‘icebreaker’ at DX3 – an alluring and fun way to get people into our booth and the opportunity for our team to explain what we do and how we can help.”

DX3 will be held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, March 7th and 8th. iGotcha Media will be in booth #528. For more information, please visit https://www.dx3canada.com/.
