Immersive Retail: Cineplex Entertainment

How do you make a movie theater experience more immersive? Cineplex Entertainment (Toronto) did it with a VIP lounge so thoughtfully designed, so plentiful in customer touchpoints, you almost forget there’s a theater attached.

Learn about this unique project – as well as engaging new concepts for retailers Blackstone Shooting Sports and Luxottica – at the International Retail Design Conference (IRDC, September 9-11, Austin, Texas), in a “Power Track” devoted to immersive retail.

In “Retail, Attract, Transact: How to Create a Branded Customer Experience,” Bill Tishler, vp, design and construction, Cineplex Entertainment, and Jean-Pierre Lacroix, president, Shikatani Lacroix Design (Toronto), will discuss understanding and providing what the customer wants, rather than letting the limitations of physical space and technology dictate what the environmental experience can be.
