Isetan to Pop Up During N.Y. Fashion Week

Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings Ltd. (Tokyo), Japan’s largest department store operator, will host a pop-up shop during New York’s February 2014 Fashion Week on Greene Street in SoHo.

Women’s Wear Daily reports that the shop, scheduled to run from February 6-13, aims to promote the work of Japanese brands and designers. The shop is supported by the Japanese government’s Cool Japan campaign, which aims to help businesses gain a foothold in the global market.

Yohji Yamamoto, Anrealage, Facetasm, Mint Designs, Theatre Products, Kansai Yamamoto and N. Hoolywood are among the brands featured in the store.
