J.Crew to Open Suit Concept Store

J. Crew Group Inc. (New York) will introduce a new concept next month centered around its popular Ludlow men’s suit. The store – called The Ludlow Shop – will be located at 50 Hudson in TriBeCa and will offer an assortment of suits, shirts, Italian leather shoes and neckwear, reports Women’s Wear Daily.

“The Ludlow suit has become a business unto itself at J. Crew,” ceo Millard “Mickey” Drexler told WWD.

The 2,100-square-foot shop will also house suit experts and a tailor
J.Crew introduced the Ludlow suit at its experimental Liquor Store location. The brand operates seven men’s-only stores in New York City, San Francisco and Boston.
