Jordan Brand Opens in Dubai

Nike’s Jordan Brand (Beaverton, Ore.) opened its fourth retail space in a Dubai, U.A.E., mall. The brand, named after NBA star Michael Jordan, also has locations in New York, Chicago and Hong Kong.

The Dubai, U.A.E., store features a wall installation of the Air Jordan wings logo and wood floors that resemble those of a basketball court, according to Arabian Business. There are also touchscreen displays displaying the history of product innovation.

“Athletes in the region have expressed a huge love for basketball and sneaker culture, so we wanted to bring them the best Jordan Brand innovation and inspiration,” said Oliver Pressinger, head of sales for the Jordan brand and Nike Basketball in the Middle East.
