Juicy Plans Global Expansion

Juicy Couture (New York) has announced that, through its licensing partners, the company expects to open 133 stores over the next five years.

So far, 31 new international sites are planned for this year, reports Women’s Wear Daily. Eight countries will see new stores, and three of them — India, South Africa and Azerbaijan — will have a Juicy presence for the first time.

Currently, Juicy operates 199 freestanding stores overseas, plus outlet stores and shops-in-shop in select department stores across 60 countries, including the U.S.

The current roll-out plan would bring the total of Juicy stores to at least 335 globally by the end of 2020.
