Kit and Ace Expanding

Kit and Ace (Vancouver) will expand its portfolio to roughly 30 stores in North America by the end of the year, according to Business Vancouver. Kit and Ace was funded by Lululemon Athletica Inc. (Vancouver) founder Chip Wilson, and is led by his son J.J. Wilson and Kit and Ace’s principal Shannon Wilson, Chip Wilson's wife. The Wilsons recently hired former Lululemon Asia Pacific managing director Darrell Kopke as ceo.

The concept, which sells “contemporary luxury streetwear,” will open doors in Tokyo, London, Sydney and Melbourne, in addition to stores in Canada and the U.S. The stores’ airy, white interiors feature a large, square center table and art walls featuring pieces by local artists.
