La Perla Moves Beyond Lingerie

La Perla (Bologna, Italy) will expand its offerings beyond lingerie by offering clothing, sleepwear, beachwear, accessories and men’s loungewear.

La Perla hopes to move beyond its reputation as "stuffy and old-fashioned," according to Glossy, and appeal to the millennial shopper.

“Women all over the world are demanding more,” said Creative Director Julia Hart. “We’re tired of being told that to be beautiful, we have to be uncomfortable. La Perla’s expertise in lingerie means we understand women’s bodies better than anyone. Our preference for exquisite, exclusive materials transitions seamlessly to our expression of ready-to-wear.”
