Les Copains Planning U.S. Stores

Les Copains, known for its luxury knitwear, is planning several U.S. store openings in 2015. The brand, owned by BVM SpA (Bologna, Italy) will open a U.S. retail unit at the upscale Buckhead Atlanta shopping center this summer. A spokesman for the company, which operates eight stores in Europe and Asia, told Women’s Wear Daily that spaces in Dallas, Chicago and Boston are under consideration, and a second U.S. Les Copains location, in a yet-unnamed market, has already been finalized.

The company operated a Les Copains flagship in New York from 1996 to 2007—in a building owned by BVM—but closed when the company sold the real estate.
