Liebeskind Berlin, a German leather accessories and fashion brand has opened its second U.S. location at the Tanger Outlets in Riverhead, N.Y. Built by Stalco Construction (Islandia, N.Y.), the brand’s German-based architectural team, alongside the project’s architect of record, Orlando, Fla.-based L2 Studios, spearheaded its design. The 2000-square-foot space includes concrete finishes, cushioned leather racks (designed to hold the company’s accessories and belts, specifically) and exposed ceilings, among other “industrial chic” touches that are intended to reflect the brand’s aesthetic.

This store opening originally appeared in the September 2016 issue of VMSD in the “On Our Radar” section.
