L.L.Bean Debuts New Home Store

L.L.Bean (Freeport, Maine) will open a new Home store in Freeport this weekend. The store will feature an old-time general store feel, including unusual lighting, tin ceilings and custom fixtures made from locally reclaimed and recycled materials.

“Our new Home store space will allow our customers a much more interesting shopping experience and different ways to view our new product selection,” says Ken Kacere, L.L.Bean’s senior vp and general manager of Retail. “The store will bring our catalog offerings to life.”

Among the products to be sold are one-of-a-kind hand-made items and vintage pieces, as well as L.L.Bean home classics in new colors.
