Lucky Brand Adds Housewares

Lucky Brand (Los Angeles) has opened a new concept store in El Segundo, Calif., that includes the brand’s first offering of housewares.

According to Women’s Wear Daily, the 5740-square-foot store is “a new artisanal-meets-industrial concept store.” Customers will be able to purchase items such as vintage watches, indigo dye kits and antique Moroccan rugs alongside the brand’s staple skinny jeans. It also features a whiskey bar and an in-store art installation.

The company plans to expand this kind of lifestyle-based store to other locations, and it is part of the company’s strategy to increase sales to $1 billion within the next five years.

The company’s Chair and CEO, Carlos Alberini, explained, “In the past, we were just selling items. Now, we’re selling a whole lifestyle.”
