Macy’s Launches In-Store Etsy Boutique

Macy’s (Cincinnati) launched The Etsy Shop in its Herald Square flagship yesterday. The in-store boutique will stock 57 products from eight different Etsy sellers that include jewelry, stationery and housewares items.

Located in the store’s Millennial-oriented One Below area in the store’s basement, the shop is themed “New York,” as seven of the eight sellers are New York locals and many of the products commemorate the city. The theme will be updated every two months.

Currently, there is no end date on the arrangement, and, according to Women’s Wear Daily, Macy’s and Etsy are considering whether to make The Etsy Shop a permanent in-store fixture.
