Macy’s to Remodel Chicago Water Tower Place

Macy's Inc. (Cincinnati) is updating its Chicago Water Tower Place store with a remodel of the first three floors of the famed department store.

New white ceramic flooring, white walls, brighter lights and silver adornments will be added to the first floor. The cosmetics department will install a Benefit brow bar and a self-service cosmetics counter.

The store's mezzanine level will be expanded by 1400 square feet, while a new footwear and denim department will be added to the third floor.

The renovation is expected to be finished in May.

The location's most recent renovation was in 1996 when the department store was a Marshall Field’s.
