Madix Sales Rep Missing in Kentucky

Lon Robert Dowdle, a sales representative for Madix Store Fixtures (Terrell, Texas), is being sought by Covington, Ky., police after having been reported missing early Thursday morning, April 4, 2002.

According to local police and newspaper reports, Dowdle and a friend got out of a cab in front of a restaurant at about 2:30 a.m. Dowdle walked around to the side of the restaurant as his friend lingered to pay the cab driver. Dowdle has not been seen since.

Dowdle, in the Cincinnati area on a sales trip, is the son of Madix vp Walter Dowdle. He is based in the company's Goodwater, Ala., facility.
