AWARD OF MERIT – IN-STORE HOME GOODS PRESENTATION
Jonathan Adler furniture launch
Marshall Field's,
Chicago

Marshall Field's was one of the first retailers to launch designer Jonathan Adler's furniture line.

To mark the occasion, Field's created a soft shop located at the entrance to its contemporary furniture gallery at the State Street flagship.

Three large scrims were used to define the space. The center scrim displayed Adler's logo, while the two side ones infused the space with Adler's sense of humor by displaying words and phrases from his manifesto.

The area was arranged in room settings to show how the furnishings would work within one's home, while pieces from the designer's well-known decorative accessories line served as accents.
