Maternity Store is Born

Mimi Essentials, which previously sold its maternity wear only through its department within MimiMaternity, Motherhood Maternity and A Pea in the Pod stores, yesterday opened its first store, in King of Prussia (Pa.) Mall. The Mimi Essentials product line is comprised of shirts, pants, skirts and jackets for pregnant women, using cotton knits, matte jersey, stretch cottons and stretch denims and stretch poplin.

Mimi Essentials is a member of the Mothers Work, Inc. group of companies. Mothers Work, Inc. is a designer, manufacturer and retailer of maternity fashions with more than 745 stores in all 50 states and Puerto Rico, and five stores on line. Its brands include A Pea in the Pod, Mimi Maternity and Motherhood Maternity.
