Describe a project you were proud to design.
Working with Superette on their cannabis shops in Canada has been the most rewarding project for me in terms of feeling like design has made an impact. Their entire mission is to be completely different from the other cannabis brands; they have crisp, white stores filled with technology and precious glass boxes, [yet it] feels casual, familiar, and friendly enough that you’re not afraid to enter or ask questions. We worked together to create a location which was thoughtfully designed to do just that. There have been so many great reviews saying that is exactly how people feel in the space. That lets me know that our goals were achieved, which is all I can ask for as a designer!
The best part of my day is…
…when my friends are in the office and we crack jokes.
