Meijer Opens Two 'Supercenter' Stores

Meijer Inc. (Walker, Mich.) opened two new supercenter stores this week. One store is located in Evansville, Ind., and the other in Owensboro, Ky.

Michigan Live reports both stores measure 192,000 square feet and will operate 24 hours a day.

Meijer plans to open seven more stores this year. The company currently operates more than 40 locations throughout the midwest.
