Microsoft Announces 24 New Windows Stores

Microsoft (Redmond, Wash.) has announced it will open 24 new Windows Stores at Chicago-area Best Buy locations, building off the strategic partnership Microsoft and Best Buy entered into last year.

The store-within-a-store concept ranges in size from 1500 square feet to 2200 square feet. The stores will feature a dedicated Surface area where people can check out the new Surface Pro 3. On central showcase tables, shoppers can get hands-on experience with the latest PCs, laptops, 2-in-1s and more. The back wall will feature software and accessories. In addition, shoppers will receive assistance from Windows-trained Best Buy Blue Shirt associates.

Last year, Microsoft opened 13 Windows Stores at Best Buys in Chicago.
