Donald Hasulak has been named vp and managing director of AAD:Fitch, the Phoenix office of Fitch:Worldwide. Hasulak will work with Fitch:Worldwide North American ceo Kevin Roche and the Phoenix office's studio directors in a management structure to succeed Carl Schaffer, former ceo and president of the company for over 15 years, whose last day with the firm was January 8, 2003.
Hasulak, who has been with AAD:Fitch since 1988, will continue to focus on business development in addition to his new role.
“Donald is one of the linchpins in our organization's plans to significantly expand our consumer environments offer in 2003,” says Roche.
Before joining Fitch:Worldwide, Hasulak was the founding principal of one of the largest casework fabricators in the Southwest, responsible for the design and construction of retail spaces throughout the country. His 20-year career spans all phases of retail and food service interior architecture.
Hasulak earned his bachelor's degree in architecture from Cornell University, is a registered architect in Arizona and a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). A roster of his clients includes: Planet Hollywood, Universal Studios, FAO Schwarz, Pacific Sunwear, Fox Sports, T.G.I. Friday's, HMSHost, Starbucks, Imaginarium Toy Stores, Club Disney, Ben & Jerry's, Baja Fresh, Torrid, Darden Restaurants, Haircolorxpress, and P.F. Chang's (Pei Wei's Asian Diner).
The Phoenix office of Fitch:Worldwide provides specialist architectural documentation, rollout services and purchasing and program management services to the retail, hospitality and food service industries. The office supports the technical and design delivery of the environmental design services offered by Fitch:Worldwide's offices in Phoenix, Boston, Columbus, Ohio, and San Francisco.
