Luxury retailer Mulberry unveiled a 5000-square-foot flagship in New York this week. The bright, airy space is decorated with white pillars, dark reclaimed wood flooring and high, original tin ceilings.
“We took quite a long time finding the perfect space,” Georgia Fendley, brand director at Mulberry, told Women’s Wear Daily. “We have two stores already in New York, but we wanted somewhere big enough to show the whole collection.”
The location carries the brand’s full line and represents Mulberry’s third store in New York, joining units on Madison Avenue and Bleecker Street. Whimsical design touches include using 8000 hard-backed books to build a small area that ensconces Mulberry’s shoe collection and pieces by artist Jonathan Ellery.
