MANAGEMENT CHANGES
Luxury department store chain Neiman Marcus Inc. (Dallas) hired John Koryl as president of its Neiman Marcus direct division, in a move to accelerate its online business, take a more analytical approach and strengthen cyber connections with customers. He replaces Gerald Barnes, who has been named executive vp and chief merchant of Neiman Marcus Direct. Koryl previously served as senior vp of e-commerce marketing and analytics at Williams-Sonoma Inc.
Michelle Bush joined design and manufacturing company LIT Workshop (Portland, Ore.) as vp of creative services. Bush will lead efforts in new market identification, global development and strategic implementation.

Sensory branding servicer Muzak, owned by Mood Media Co. (Toronto), partnered with specialty apparel and accessories retailer Aéropostale (New York) to provide custom soundtracks at more than 1000 locations in the U.S. and Canada.
