No More Wonders

Natural Wonders, Inc. (Fremont, Calif.), and its wholly owned subsidiary World of Science, announced that it had begun the sale of its assets and the auctioning off of its real estate property leases. The retailer had first announced in December that it was seeking Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, just four months after acquiring its chief competitor, World of Science. There were 237 stores in operation as of yesterday.
