Online Wish List

A new online venue at nauticajeans.com/giftguide isn't an Internet sales vehicle for Nautica Jeans Co.For one thing, the site doesn't accept orders. It does, however, urge a browser to create a Nautica Jeans “wish list” with a personal message and send it to someone else.

The not-so-subtle system will send the message that directs the “giver” to the url, which contains the product images, prices and a zip-code-driven store locator.

Nautica Jeans Co. will likely unhitch the guide after Christmas, but it may reappear (minus the Christmas decorations) for other gift-giving holidays including Mother's Day, Father's Day and Valentine's Day.
