Party City (Rockaway, N.J.) will open between 80 and 100 Halloween City popup stores this season, says President and CEO Bradley Weston. That represents as much as a four time increase over the 25 temporary stores the retailer opened in 2020.

“We’re ready for any level of demand as we are … still in a volatile and dynamic time,” Weston said of the Halloween season said in a Seeking Alpha transcript. In 2019, the brand opened 250 Halloween popups.
