Peter Burgoyne, formerly director of creative media systems and lead designer for the Jones Apparel Group (Bristol, Pa.) and a member of the VM+SD editorial advisory board, has joined RYA Design Consultancy (Dallas) as senior designer for the New York office.
At the Jones Apparel Group, Burgoyne oversaw Nine West’s international stores in over 60 countries and was responsible for the 2006 Nine West retail concept design. He was also charged with providing a unified design direction for Nine West’s more than 800 retail stores, wholesale stores, showrooms and value-based stores. Prior to Jones Apparel Group, Burgoyne has worked with Kenneth Cole, Lei, Nat West Bank, Bandolino, Easy Spirit, Enzo Angiolini and Jones New York.
