New Chief Financial Officer for PetSmart

PetSmart, a subsidiary of BC Partners (London), announced that Rob Anderson will join the company as its new chief financial officer. The move is effective Oct. 5.

Retailing Today reports that Anderson moves to PetSmart from Save-A-Lot (Earth City, Mo.), where he also served as cfo.

Anderson also worked as controller and executive director at Chipotle Mexican Grill (Denver) and as cfo at Career Education Corporation (Schaumburg, Ill). He formerly held several leadership positions within McDonalds Corp. (Oak Brook, Ill.).
