Proportion London in Expansion Drive

Powered with a significant investment by owners, Brightstar Capital, Proportion London announces the latest development in the company’s 100-year plus history.

Proportion London is now the anchor brand in the newly formed Visual Innovation Group, wholly owned by Brightstar Capital. The group will shortly be announcing further exciting acquisitions and expansion plans as it develops the offer to support all aspects of modern retail. In addition, it will bolster the highly successful museum business as a division within Visual Innovation Group under the new name, Museums at Proportion. The ongoing dedicated investment, resource, and support will help Proportion to continue to grow and flourish.

“Whilst retail is facing some challenges at present, a new consensus is emerging about the importance of beautiful, engaging, and exciting spaces to showcase product and communicate and connect with consumers,” said Alison Jordan, the Managing Director of Proportion London. “This new venture will build on our long-established ability to help brands, retailers, museums, and property owners create unique environments, whilst offering new services to further support our partners.”

Tom Billings, Partner at Brightstar Capital and Chairman of Visual Innovation Group, said: “Since acquiring Proportion London in 2014, we have made significant investments to ensure best in class capability to deliver the outstanding creativity and quality for which Proportion is known. Our confidence in the long-term future of retail, the potential of museums and related businesses, and the unique platform that Proportion gives for a wider visual services business is demonstrated through this new structure and investment.”

Conceived and crafted in London, Proportion combines modern technology with traditional techniques and 150 years’ experience to produce visual merchandising display for some of the world’s most prestigious brands.
