RadioShack Ceo Leaves Company

Electronics retailer RadioShack Corp. (Fort Worth, Texas) announced that ceo James Gooch has left the company after 16 months on the job, Bloomberg reports. He is replaced on an interim basis by the company’s finance chief, Dorvin Lively.

No reason was stated for the departure, which is effective immediately. RadioShack suspended its dividend in July after posting a loss, according to the Bloomberg article.

Lively joined RadioShack last year after serving as chief financial officer at Ace Hardware Corp.
