Located on the area’s main shopping artery, at 1335 Abbot Kinney Blvd., the store offers visitors “a unique opportunity to step inside a 3000-year-old mountain olive tree and experience what it feels like to be one with nature again, while simultaneously reconnecting with its unique nature and thus connecting with the infinite life force of Mother Nature,” Founder Thomas Lommel said in a news release.

Waterless products like those sold by Olive Tree People are the fastest-growing segment within the beauty industry and are expected to grow to $17.2 billion by 2028, a recent study by Grand View Research found.

Vivaia (London), an eco-friendly footwear brand, which has opened its first physical store in the U.S., at 68 Prince St. in New York’s SoHo. The 900-square-foot locale features “original exposed brick design details to honor the city’s heritage while integrating lush greenery and natural light to embody its eco-conscious DNA,” the company said in a news release.

The new store is the latest step in the brand’s expansion in the U.S.; in addition to previous pop-ups in New York and Los Angeles, Vivaia’s lines are available in Nordstrom, Dillards, and Von Maur department stores.
