Salmon Exec Swims Upstream

William Pace, a founding partner of strategy consulting firm Swander Pace & Co., which merged with Kurt Salmon Associates in 2000, has been named KSA's ceo by the Atlanta-based retail consulting firm's board of directors. Peter Brown, who had been ceo since 1998, continues as chairman. David Cole has been named chairman emeritus.

Since the merger of the two firms, Pace had been serving as a KSA principal and member of the firm's finance committee.

“As a founding partner of a highly successful consulting firm with a strong, collaborative culture, Bill Pace is superbly qualified for his new responsibilities as ceo of KSA,” Brown said. “His insights in the consumer packaged goods industry will benefit our clients in retailing, general merchandise, and soft goods.”
