Fixture Perfect Hires Ex-Blockbuster President

Fixture Perfect International (Dallas), the turnkey store-development company, has named former Blockbuster Entertainment worldwide operation president Gerald Geddis as coo.

Geddis, who spent nine years with Blockbuster, will oversee the operations divisions of FPI and its sister company, estorefixture.com. The company says he'll be responsible for developing vertical integration strategies, business processes and customer relations programs to enhance the company's existing growth and service capabilities.

In addition to his nine years at Blockbuster, Geddis spent 17 years with Tandy Corp./Radio Shack, working through all levels of field management. Prior to joining FPI, Geddis had been president and coo of Gerald Stevens Inc., a flower and gift registry retail organization he had co-founded.

FPI functions as a turnkey resource for in-house program management, store and fixture design, automated sourcing, site survey and CAD services, logistics management and consolidation, store and fixture installation, and retail merchandising. Its online sister operation, estorefixture.com, expedites the procuring of not-for-resale corporate expenditures.
