Asprey & Garrard, the stately 220-year-old London luxury goods retailer, has hired Jade Jagger as jewelry designer. Jagger's first Asprey collection went on sale today at the retailer's Bond Street flagship store.

Jagger is the 29-year-old daughter of Bianca and Mick Jagger. Her new line debuts in the same month that The Gucci Group hired Stella McCartney, daughter of Linda and Paul McCartney, as one of its fashion designers. (Another notable scion, Paloma Picasso, was jewelry designer for Tiffany's in the 1980s.)
