Save-A-Lot Adds Florida Store

Save-A-Lot food stores (St. Louis) has opened a store in Crystal River, Fla., marking the state’s 106th location. Other stores operate in Jacksonville, Orlando and Tampa.

“Save-A-Lot is committed to building stores in areas that are in need of access to fresh, nutritious food at a great price,” says Bob Grimm, Save-A-Lot District Manager.

The 14,000-square-foot store features shopping staples, as well as fresh meats and produce, at prices that are typically 20 to 40 percent less than conventional grocery stores.

Save-A-Lot, the hard line discount brand of parent company SuperValu, operates more than 1000 stores in 39 states.
