Second Amazon Exec Jumps to Stitch Fix

Amazon’s (Seattle) Sharon Chiarella will join Stitch Fix (San Francisco), effective next week, as its new Chief Product Officer, reports WWD. Stitch Fix’s Chief Financial Officer, Dan Jedda, also arrived from Amazon in December.

Chiarella worked for 13 years at Amazon, where she ran many of its high-profile customer experiences. She will be responsible for the product and experience organization, overseeing the product, design and technical teams that drive the fashion purveyor’s personalized discovery and convenience model.

Stitch Fix President Elizabeth Spaulding said in a statement to WWD: “[Chiarella’s deep technical talent and incredible experience building highly effective, beloved consumer experiences at scale will be a huge asset to our business today, and as we reimagine shopping for everyone.”
