Sephora is Leaving Korea

Beauty and cosmetics retailer Sephora (Paris) will cease operations in Korea this spring, according to its website for the country.

On May 6, Sephora will phase out operations of online presence, mobile app and stores in the region. That day is also the last day customers in Korea will be able to place an online order.  Any loyalty points that members have acquired will be deleted after that day as well.

Customer service for the region will continue until mid-August. Sephora currently operates five stores in Korea and says it will expand in other countries in the Pacific region such as China, Thailand and Australia.
