Singapore Welcomes Smoothie King

Smoothie King Franchises Inc. (New Orleans) recently announced a new operation in Singapore, which marks the company’s first international location. Set in the city’s Centrepoint mall, the café-style store is modeled after the company’s Korean retail locations.

“There are currently no smoothie chains leading the international market, specifically in Asia,” said Wan Kim, Smoothie King’s global ceo. “We have found huge success in Korea, with our stores outperforming popular coffee shops.” The company plans to open 1000 new stores in the U.S. and abroad by 2017.
