9 December 2015 — FITCH is honoured to be partnering with the World Retail Congress to launch a special award in memory of our founder Rodney Fitch, who died in 2014.
The Rodney Fitch Award for Innovation and Creativity will be given to a team or individual from within either a retailer or a creative agency who the judges believe can demonstrate by their work that they share Rodney’s philosophy and mission “to deliver to ordinary people better places to shop”.
Tim Greenhalgh, Chairman and Chief Creative Officer of FITCH says: “Innovation and creativity are the foundations of successful future-facing retail solutions. They should make lives easier, more rewarding and ultimately capture people’s imagination. This award is a fitting tribute to a man who consistently sought to challenge retail onvention and encouraged anyone who came into his sphere to do the same.”
