Sports Clips Hit 800-Store Mark

Men's and boys' hair care provider Sport Clips Haircuts opened its 800th store with a new location in the Seattle area.

The store is located at 17158 Redmond Way in Redmond, Wash. During an opening ceremony, Sport Clips ceo and founder Gordon Logan discussed the franchise's continued growth across the country, as well as expansion plans for the greater Seattle area and the northwest United States.

“We have 23 stores open in Washington and Oregon, with plans to increase that to 35 stores by the end of next year,” says Logan. “Ultimately, Sport Clips plans to open 70 stores in Washington and Oregon over the next few years, working with our local small business franchisees.”

The Georgetown, Texas-based company was founded in 1995.
